Pricing FAQ

Do you charge a percentage of the deal or a flat fee?

Both options exist in the market. We prefer flat or project fees because they align our incentives with yours — we're not tempted to drag things out or push you toward a bigger deal than makes sense. For larger transactions, we sometimes structure a hybrid. Either way, we'll be transparent about it upfront.

What if the deal falls through?

You still pay for the work we did. That's fair — we showed up, did the analysis, found buyers, negotiated terms. If a deal dies because of market conditions or buyer cold feet, that's not on us. But you got valuable intel and market testing out of it.

Can we negotiate your fee?

Depends. Our set pricing is already reasonable. But if you're looking at a really unusual situation — highly complex deal, international transaction, tight timeline — we can talk about adjustments. Just bring it up early.

When do we actually pay you?

For assessments and smaller projects, it's upfront or 50/50 split. For full transactions, we typically ask 50% to start and 50% at closing. Makes sense for everyone — you're not bleeding money before anything happens, and we're invested in actually finishing the deal.
